Random facts

  • My last name is Kerekes. I think it’s awesome. It’s of Hungarian origin, not Greek. And the second e is long. Unless you want to pronounce it the Hungarian way, and then I can’t even explain it.
  • I’m a third year elementary education major. The fact that I graduate in a year and a half scares the bejeezus out me, because it means I have to be an adult. Also, the fact that 50% of teachers quit within their first three years scares me too. I don’t want to have wasted 4 years of my life, because there’s not much else you can do with a teaching degree besides teach.
  • I’m dating a really awesome guy named Danny. I call him Dannybear. He has a beard.
  • I live alone in an apartment with three cats. I chose to mention my boyfriend before I mentioned this because I don’t want people to think I’m a crazy cat lady. Even though I am. My cats names are Sinda, Silas, and Noelle. Except I call them Sinda, Mr. Man, and BabyKitty. As I said, crazy cat lady. They also have full names, which are Sinda Monica, Silas Grey the Half Mad, and Noelle von BabyKitty. Crazy, crazy cat lady.
  • I also have a rabbit named Ewan Rhys Kenobi and a beta fish named Ludovic Blau.
  • I love photography. A lot. I have a DeviantArt page where I upload and sell my photography. I use a Nikon D40 that my parents bought for me in October of ‘07 and it gets the job done. I’m getting a telephoto lens for Christmas that I am super excited about.
  • I work at a movie theater. I don’t actually watch very many movies. EDIT: Used to work at a movie theater. Now I work with children with developmental delays.
  • I prefer to read books and listen to music.
  • I like to play Sims, Spore, Rock Band, and very few other video games.

    My dad watched nascar, and thus, so did I, when I still lived at home.
    And my best friend, who used to be my roommate, is a huge Jr. fan…. yuck

    At first I didn’t know who was also loving Emmett’s Jeep and then I saw Silas and I was like “Obviously Ashley has a cat named Silas. And obviously Ashley’s Silas is the only cat that would go sit in a bunny’s cage” haha.
    I used to hate NASCAR, but my boyfriend loves it. I got hooked when I went to my first race three years ago. And now I just like complaining about Jr haha.
